Shot on film; Yep, real photography... Live music photography by Mike Wylie, Perth West Australia, from Rolling Stones to Radio Birdman, BB King to Buffalo Tom, plus a slew of Australian bands including loads of Perth all stars. Music by Perth's own Emperors, with Favourite Colours, and Plastic Guns, as well as Flanders Anky Fremp. God's own music, from Gods own town... Shot on cheap Nikon cameras & very expensive Nikon lenses, all prime, from 7.5 F5.6 fisheye, to 300mm F4, with some use of remote flash, a lot harder then than it is now. Film used; • Tri X rated 400 to 800 • Ilford HP5 rated 400 to 1600 developed in Microphen or Ilford Plus • TMAX 400 rated 400 to 1600 developed in Rodinol 1/50 • TMAX 3200 developed on TMAX developer • Fuji colour negative films as they evolved THANKS to all these bands for letting me get in the way.
